In the May meeting we covered alot of ground. First off we had several guests and new members present, likely the most in recent history. This was also the highest attended meeting in a while!

Old Business

• Tournament wrapup – went very well for the club and will help cover the banquet and activities for the rest of the year. Many new ideas were also provided to help the tournament run better next year.
• Steve provided an update on the July 13th Banquet – we will begin reaching out to old members soon. Three will be a taco bar provided by a catering company and it will be held in the Marineland area. Steve is taking RSVPs
• We had a table of gifts – club stickers, hats, and patches that were free to members
• We discussed making Flags for those to fly on their carts.

New Business

• Club Fishing day 6/13 A THURSDAY so the retirees/flex schedule folks can fish less crowded beaches. The Rockpile was discussed, but possibly could shift to find a beach open earlier. Stay tuned!
• Trash fish tournament – 7/27 we will have lunch afterward at the Sand Dollar. Be at the gates of Little Talbot at 8am.
• We also discussed “Come out and fish with the club day” but due to meeting time running short, this will be more planned out in the future.
